About us

The ‘Apostles of Perpetual Adoration’ (APA) were founded in Perth, Western Australia, on the 18th of July 2006, by founding members Most Reverent Archbishop Barry James Hickey and Fr. Douglas Harris. The association was founded for the prime purpose of carrying out Mary’s Mission of having her Son, Jesus, perpetually adored in the Blessed Sacrament. Members of the Association promote Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration. 
The APA was then established permanently as a public Association of Christ’s Faithful on the 14th of December, 2010. Our association has been an instrument in the hand of God in starting Perpetual Eucharistic chapels throughout Australia, parts of South America, Africa, Indonesia and various other parts of the world (where ever we are invited); encouraging priests, religious and laity alike, to come together to adore our Lord in order to give Him the love and glory that is His due, whilst allowing people to grow in faith, and deepen their union with Jesus.
